Beau Bridges' latest TV series, Sci Fi Channel's popular Stargate SG-1, is light-years more advanced than his first science-fiction project, 1965's Village of the Giants, with a young Ron Howard.

Bridges and Browder take over for Richard Dean Anderson, who left as a regular last season but will reappear. Actors Samantha Carter, Michael Shanks and Christopher Judge return. Louis Gossett Jr. joins the cast as an alien leader who competes with Teal'c (Judge) to control a new Jaffa nation.

Yes, but did you notice they put AT in with the pack of returning cast, and made Ben Browder seem like the new "star"? I love BB, but sorry, he should be treated as just the new 4th member of SG-1. Sam was the commander of Sg-1.....she still better be, after she returns. (getting very impatient for July)
