The Gift, Ford and that so called joke. any other bad jokes

Okay this is a slightly nonsense thread but I'm watching The Gift at the moment and I just wanted to out a grown.

Who on earth came up with that bad joke.
Ford: Got a little what? got a little what McKay.

I mean that is bad very, very bad and Sheppard should not only have given him that look but hit Ford and whoever came up with the joke round the head

But I'm sure it's not the only bad joke. I mean in Moebius
Sam: Do you have any idea why we're here?

Okay, the joke in The Gift was really lame, but I don't think it was the joke that was supposed to be funny. It was the fact that Ford was still trying to get McKay back for the Prime/Not Prime teasing in Hot Zone.

Yeah i get that but still it's no justification and surly Ford could have come up with a better way than some lame joke. Surely???

It's just showing Ford is a little immature. It's the same with him wanting to name everything or going for the first ride in the Jumper.

And one of the things I like is that they put jokes like that in. It makes it more realistic. In real life, people don't just say something to get a laugh from the audience.
