Time to start this thread, already!
And to start, I will share the following deliciousness:
BTW, Gateworld and some stuff disseminated out there on the web have his name as Stephen Caldwell. It's Steven. I zoomed the photo and looked on the namebadge. Either that, or they made his namebadge incorrectly!
Ask me what else I zoomed in on. Go on, ask.
I have a long history of being totally mad for Mitch Pileggi. It started, of course, from his great performance and role of Walter Skinner in The X-Files. I went back and saw everything he's done (some TV, like China Beach and Dallas, some parts as bad guys in worse films). I've also endured 2 horrible post-XF series of his he did with TheWB. First was Tarzan, where he played Richard Clayton, Tarzan's uncle, the only watchable part of a very juvenile music-videoish series that just couldn't go anywhere because Travis Fimmel cannot act to save his life. The second was last season's The Mountain, which was just another WB music video trying to pose as a dramatic series. Mitch was underused again, as was Barbara Hershey, and this was after TheWB made a point of promoting their presence as way of proving they were not just a 20something network.
I can't count how many times I thought that Pileggi should be brought into the Stargate universe. I saw his acting and the presence that he brings with him as being very complimentary to SG-1 or Atlantis. And finally, it happened. Hey, Joe and Brad. You reading my LJ or something?
We know that
What are your thoughts, hopes, fears, speculations, and thunks about the commander of the Daedalus?
Bring on the pictures!
Let's get it on!
