    Steve & Bob The Wraiths Thunk thread.

    Steve was an awesome one of the best SGA characters. Atlantis was illegaly testing drugs on a prisoner of war! The geneva code says in page 54, paragraph 1 "It is not permitted to test any experimental drugs on prisoners of war. Anyone with me?!!!



    Bob was only a cameo but he deserved much more! WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU BOB!!!!!!!!!

      And sheppard made the more than likely correct assumption that "if the Wraith attended the Geneva Convention, they would eat everyone."
      But even so, they would have still "attended" the Convention, so thereotically speaking, wouldn't the Wraith still be covered under the GC?

      Bob is up there with Steve. But yes, Bob could have been given a more active role. At least Steve got several scenes.

      So does anyone think they will actually give "wraith" names to Wraith, or will they continue using sheppard's mono-syllabic naming system?

        O.K., this time I'm gonna play devil's advocate on the Geneva Convention.

        They didn't actually test the DRUG on Steve, or they didn't THINK they were.

        They thought they were testing the drug on the hapless victim, in hopes of making him TASTE bad to Steve. Had they actually known it would affect Steve beyond that, then yes, you are in some shaky territory.

        (FYI: I actually think that some ethical considerations go into treatment of the wraith IFF (that's if and only if) you take them prisoner.)

          Yay!! A Steve thunk thread! (Even though he's technically sharing it with Bob.)

          I loved Steve! It's too bad they had to kill him off - but I understand why they couldn't keep him on the show.
