Well, there's been some talk about a 'stuff blowing up' thread over in 'What's a shipper?' so I thought I'd start one.

So, um... Isn't it cool when stuff blows up?

Awesome. Just seeing the big explosion from something getting blown up. The bigger the better

So, what's the biggest explosion we've seen on Stargate, anyway? Personally, I'd say it would have to be (spoiler for Full Circle in white text)the pyramid on Abydos blowing up.(end spoiler) I mean, nothing can top that!

The enitre Planet was not destroyed.
The went back to it!!! And don't give that the anciets made it re-appear so SG-1 could go back crap.

Proof here that It would have taken Anubis superweapon over a day to destroy the planet Abydos.

I could have sworn that somewhere mentioned that the planet was destroyed. Even if it was not there was a lot of damage. The big explosion effects were great

I say the best explosion was in Full Circle when Anubis blew up Abydos. They way that pyramid just exploded was just so awesome.

I think the blowing up the pyradmid scene cost them $100,000. I'm not sure if it was in the Stargate Lowdown or not

Thanks piggy. Nobody can be sure of what Anubis actually did, just that he done something evil. We have yet to be explained what happened to the people on Abydos
