Favorite Moment from Atlantis Season 1

Hey, SG-1 has a couple moment threads why not Atlantis?
This may be hard to answer because there are so many. But what was your favorite moment from Atlantis' first season and why?

Ooh I can't pick one, but I reckon I can narrow it down to two:

1. Weir showing down Kavanaugh in 38 Minutes....hehe that was great

and

2. Teyla bunching Bates...he deserved that soo much!

the first battle scene from the seige part 2 hands down. that was one of the greatest scenes ive seen ever be it tv or movie

my favorite moment is in suspicion, just before teyla drags ford through the gate, you can see her shadow from the light device that makes the blue shimmer, before she steps through the stargate.

All my favourite moments usually have something to do with the Sheppard/McKay dynamic... which isn't so surprising considering that they are my most favourite thing about Atlantis...

It's hard to pick just one only because they are all so different and a comparison cannot do them all justice but there is one moment I think that sums up their relationship:

Shep leaping out from hiding and activating the gate forcefield right after Kolya told those Genii renforcements to come on through. It was brutally hilarious.

Favorite funny moment was in Hide and Seek where they tested McKays shield out when they push him off the balcony and when they talk about shooting McKay in the leg.

Favorite serious moment in the Eye when sheppards in the roof of the room with all the smoke and he kills the genii that walk in.

my other favorite moment is in "Childhoods End" when they two little kids are with McKay and Ford. the whole sequence is hillarious, but the expression on Fords face when realizes he gets to give them chocolate for the first time is the best and he says something like "You guys have never had chocolate? This is gonna be awesome!" that whole episode everytime those two kids wewre around was awesome.
