Zee Pee Em or Zed Pee Em? (ZPM power source)

I'm not goin to say what episode because i do not want to spoil but is the ancient power source pronouced Zee Pee Mem or Zed Pee Mem???

It depends. If you're in the US, its Zee Pee Em, but just about anywhere else, its Zed. And I don't think it would be major spoilers to say that we find this out in 'Rising, Part 1'. Oh, did i just say that?

That's the way Dr. McKay pronounced it. Jackson and O'Niell pronounced it Zee Pee Em. Or ZPM. McKay says ZedPM.

Canada and the UK (and Australia I think) say Zed. I think it's just Americans that say Zee.

An American told me that it used to be 'Zed' in America until Sesame Street invented the Alphabet Song, and wanted it to rhyme so they changed to saying 'zee'. I believed her for years.

Don't forget every other English speaking country on the planet too, apart from America. An Ay to Zee map wouldn't sound the same as Ay to Zed.

I have to admit my first instinct is always to call it a ZEE PM but always correct myself or have to stop myself before i say it to pronounce it in the correct way of Zed PM.
