Toy metal die cast sci fi helmet?

hi all new to the forum so bare with me.
Im not too sure if i am posting in the correct section...
anyway i bought this cool metal piece of head armour which was sold as doctor who memorabilia but i dont recall ever seeing it in any of the doctor who series.

Could anyone shed any light on what movie it may have been from or what it is?! or if it is even from a movie or series?
