Really? The prices I quoted were directly from the convention page for last year's con.

Thanks all! I will keep an eye out for the ST GA tickets to go on sale. Wouldn't mind trying to go in on Saturday or Sunday, but if I don't make it that's ok too. It seems like the ST conventions seem to not be at risk for ending anytime soon like the SG ones do. And even though I have some favorite ST characters none of them are quite like my SG favorite. I would be happy to see anyone that day.

On a different note, even though it is really trivial, does anybody know why they are referring to non-Las Vegas Star Trek cons as "Creation Entertainment's Salute to Star Trek"? It just seems odd considering they call the Las Vegas con the "Official" con So, other than cramming in 100+ guests and making it impossible to see or do everything, how is it any less "official" than the cons which aren't glorified sardine tins?

But, I don't remember where I read that and since I've never been to one I'm not really sure I know anything helpful. I just remember reading something along that line. I have a really good friend who is also a Star Trek fan and we've talked about trying to make a Con....and next year would probably be a really cool (and totally crazy one) to go to.

I think I'm quite happy to see William Shatner and Brent Spiner (Data) at the Vancouver Fan Expo con in April in a less hectic environment.
