Hi all I help assist in the operation and ongoing improvement of wait for it..... A Freelancer Mod yes that’s right it's still out there.
The mod is called Nightstalker's Universe it encompasses many Sci-Fi universes from Movies, TV and the game world (all used with permission). It is free to play and supported by volunteers who administer and develop it without financial benefit.
We are at the moment planning an update and are so looking for models that are free to use. In particular SGU models in CMP format such as Destiny Obviously, Destiny shuttle and seed ship also any of the other ships that were seen.
We are not modeller’s ourselves but love to bring them to life, play with them and admire the work behind them.
So if anyone has or knows of these models or alternatives and methods of conversion to CMP for use in the game. We would love to hear from you. You can find out more by visiting www.galacticgate.com
