I guess this is the right place to post this, there's other film-related threads here.
Wikipedia refers to the five Bill McCay-penned novel sequels to the original film as having been recorded as audiobooks by a David Fox. I can't find anything online about them, except the first, which an Amazon description says was released on Brilliance Bookcassette a slightly unusual tape format which I haven't got the equipment to play anyway.
Can anyone shed any more light on these for me? Do you own them? Were they ever reissued on CD? I'd love to get a hold of them but if they were on a format I can't play there's no point, and I can't see them being licensed for reissue now, since they don't fit with either Dean Devlin's or MGM's universe.
Additionally, was there ever an audiobook of the film novel? I haven't seen it referred to.
