Stargate P&P role playing game-anyone interested?

I just came across this old Stargate P&P Roleplaying game and found myselof wondering why they never made a new one, so I was wondering.

Does anyone know why? And also, would people still be interested in an RPG like this?

Personally, I'd be really looking forward to being able to adventure in the stargate universe, and I know most of my friends would be more than willing to join in, but I was just curious whether anyone else was.

Since it is based on the D&D 3.0/3.5 mechanics, i never bothered giving it that much of a look see.

I wanted to start a stargate command text role play game. If anyone would play it.

If you don't know what a text role play game its simply a forum where you pick your character a real SGC character or made up one and simply write everything instead of playing a predetermined story. Would anyone be interested?
