MGM on Crowd Funding Fan films
heya, was wondering if anyone had heard of any successful Stargate fan films being funded through a crowd funding campaign on a place like IndieGoGo?
I've always wanted to do a Stargate fan film, but do it really well and right, but just never been able to afford to do it either. I've seen the Star Trek Renegades film being funded by fans and also so has a Batman web series. I wonder if anyone knew of MGMs official position on Stargate fan films? And if they knew if Crowd funding a fan film would be a good idea? I can imagine if someone could prove their film would be worth donating to then a considerable amount could be raised.
I've looked around and yet to see a Stargate fan film with some real production value and a top story.
