    Goa'ulds in Atlantis?

I just want to hear some opinions of what u think would have happened if the goa'uld would have found Atlantis before the humans.

Would they be able to win against the wraith? They have much more knowledge which could help them to better understand the ancient's technology.

    Just some thoughts

They may have had some more knowledge of ancient tech, but had not had much luck repairing it etc from all accounts. BUT they would also have had to come up with a way to get there since the atlantis gate was keyed to ONLY accept the earth gate dial in..

Personal I always thought this an interesting premise for an AU or a fanfic.
"First Weir, then Samantha Carter, and now, you! It's a pity you humans die or get reassigned so easily, or I might have a sense of satisfaction now!"

*You got the touch! You got the poweeeeer!*

      "Arise, Woolseyus Prime."

      "Elizabeth..."

I may have some Tok'ra in Atlantis. It is an interesting premise and I don't think too many have done that yet.

The only problem they'd have is that they may or may not have the ATA gene. Other than that, Goa'uld are vastly more qualified to operate Atlantis than we ever were.

Could a Goa'uld have taken wraith as host?

                I don't know. That's a question I've been wondering about myself.

given that the wraith are human-iratus hybrids i doubt that very much. Also the wraith are psionic creatures which makes me doubt that a goauld can take control (i would rather bet a wraith taking over a goa'uld).

This is the type of question that the writers could literally write either yes or no and it would make equal sense either way.

My guess would be yes though, since Ba'al could take over Adria.

I don't understand why taking an (advanced) human is proof that they can take a Wraith.

I would think that even if a Ghoul could take over a Wraith it would have probs with the Group Hive Mind Telepathy the Wraith had. Would think they would pick up on the dual mind presence going on in one of them.

I thought your premise is that a goa'uld could not take control of a wraith because they have advanced mental abilities. Well we know they can take over a human with similar abilities so it's hardly a stretch.

So Teyla is stronger than a Gou'ald? Being she has taken over several wraith including a queen!

That was a special case because she was pregnant with a special baby but yes that's a good point.
