We are pleased to announce that Legends Canada has been invited to open a memorabilia auction page on the Sea Shepherd Australia website. This site will be used for the sale of actual campaign-used items in the process of raising funds for the various Sea Shepherd campaigns and most notably to help them continue the fight against the illegal and inhumane Japanese whaling activity in the Southern Ocean.
Over the past few months, a great selection of artifacts have been collected from the SSCS ships Steve Irwin, Bob Barker, Sam Simon and Brigitte Bardot. We even have pieces of the Adi Gil that will be available in this program! All of the items have been used on previous SSCS campaigns and have now been catalogued and stored in a warehouse in Williamstown, Australia, the homebase for the fleet.
SPECIAL SSCS CHARITY SALE!
In order to get this project rolling, various proprietary software programs and licences need to be purchased for installation on the SSCS website. As existing SSCS funds are needed to undertake the cost of operations of the ships in the current anti-whaling campaign, we cannot burden Sea Shepherd with the cost of this software. Legends Canada is therefore going to conduct a special sale in January for the purpose of funding this project for them. The sale will include a wide variety of unique items....and here are just a few examples:
- New Sea Shepherd campaign photos originally autographed by Capt. Paul Watson and the SSCS ship captains
- Richard Dean Anderson memorabilia (including his own personal MGM/Stargate crew jacket!)
- Exclusive original silkscreen art prints of whales, signed by Richard Dean Anderson
- Rare, limited edition Capt. Paul Watson whale poems printed on campaign-used sea charts
- Autographed Film, TV and Historical memorabilia
- Save the Whales eco-bracelets
- Rare MacGyver collectibles
- Autographed music memorabilia (albums, drumheads, guitars)
- Stargate, Andromeda and X-Files memorabilia
