The TV Comedy Thread!

Myself and a few others briefly hijacked the Fic Help thread with some gratuitous ramblings about old comedy shows that we love.

Rather than continue there, and risk the wrath of the Mods, I thought it'd be a better idea to start a thread.

So then, the floor is open. What are your favourite comedy shows, past and present?

I've seen every episode of the The Cosby Show, Golden Girls, Roseanne, The Nanny and Frasier at least a half dozen times a piece and yet I can still sit there and watch them over and over.

That's one of the hallmarks of a good comedy show, you never get bored watching it no matter how many times you've seen it before.

I've been watching Mom - new this season. I'm not usually an Anna Farris fan, but I love Allison Janney. They're both hilarious in the show. I tried Dads but I dropped it after a handful of episodes.

Oh, and Big Bang Theory. Thanks to syndication I've seen all of those several times and it just never gets old for me.

Hogan's Heroes. I first saw it on TVLand a long time ago and then they stopped showing it. I was so excited when I moved and found a local channel that shows it.

I love the IT Crowd too. I also love The Morcambe and Wise Show and Bilko.

Modern Family is my favorite comedy... and can I say the Graham Norton show? I laugh non-stop when he is on, but I think it is probably considered a talk show.
