Thought I'd like to see it, animation ain't cheap - for a well done series, you'd be looking at around 400K production costs per 30-mins, and probably a large chunk of change for the actors to reprise their roles. Cheaper, yes, but at the same time, you'd be going into a medium that already had a low rated/failed series (Stargate Infinity), and one that most adults don't watch.
I do really like the idea of a graphic novel series and/or book series (which I believe they did well with STS9). My question though in both cases would be what story is left to tell? I felt the series was very nicely wrapped by the movies, and really, the entire Ori arc came about because Brad & Co zipped up the Ga'old arc b/c they though the series was over with season 7 (or 8, I can't remember).
