I always assumed this wasn't shown, because it would be anticlimactic. Twenty minutes of reunions without plot would be utterly boring. What about the Borg? Were they merely crippled or outright destroyed? I've read conflicting reports on the web all the way back when the episode ended in May, 2001.
I think you will find opinion divided on this episode.
"What do you mean by 'Oopps'?" Team Starfist protects all. But having a fully loaded P-90 helps... Reality is an illusion... Created by those who cannot handle Stargate...! Jankowski's Rules: Rule 1: Check your Six! I'm not perfect. But parts of me are excellentI also cook...! To thy own self... Be true May the odds.... Be ever in your favour..!
That's why I started this thread. I'm interested in what others think, both positive and negative. Maybe instead of family reunions, the show could have benefited from the crew saying goodbye to each other as they head to the transporter rooms?
Endgame in my opinion could have been a very good episode.
It felt to me as though it had been rushed. That Paramount wanted to get the Voyager home as quick as possible.

It was just so abrupt - "there's Earth, The End!" I remember being pretty angry about it at the time. I would have liked to see them at least get off the ship and enjoy the sunshine or something.

As far as I know, whenVoyager got home was up to Rick Berman, not the studio. The producers toyed with the idea of the ship getting home mid-series, at the start of the final season, mid-season, towards the end of the series, in the finale... It kept getting pushed back and ultimately happened at the very end. For me, it worked despite wanting to see more. They did it. That was enough for me. The show was about going home, not what happens after. It could have been, but the producers decided against this. I always assumed that if the ship got home, the producers would simply make that the series finale. Sure enough, that's exactly what happened.

One ending I've suggested before is for Voyager to come down for a landing outside San Franciso. The crew climb down the landing legs. Captain Janeway stands with her senior officers. She kneels to grab a handful of soil. "We did it." The camera zooms out, revealing Voyager parked next to Starfleet Command... fade to black.

I thought most everything about it, from the premise onward was terrible.

Yes, sun on their faces or standing on earth or something that we could feel along with them! Not just, "there it is - yay!"
I know Voyager predates SGA by a few years but the ending Snowman's describing sounds a lot like EAtG, another despised series finale.
I thought the Voyager finale was okay. Not brilliant, but okay. And certainly better than Enterprise's And These are the Voyages... Turnabout Intruder was also one of the worst TOS episodes ever made, but it wasn't written as a finale so the comparison isn't exactly fair.
What the producers had in mind was having the finale end as the premiere did, with Captain Janeway ordering, "Set a coarse... for home." They thought the fans would like the final shot being Voyager being escorted by a fleet of popular ships with Earth in the background. Personally, I like this as a closing scene. In fact, here it is on YouTube. Yes, it is abrupt, but it works for me. Would I have liked to see more? Yes! It's Voyager! Am I content with the actual ending? Yes.
I thought the ending was pretty good. I enjoyed it. Although, I need to get a copy of the series and do a rewatch. Its been a while since I've seen an episode of voyager.
