    Default Stargate models and Blueprints

I have seen numerous requests for schematics and blueprints on the internet so fans can try to build what the modelers seem to choose not to, so I have started this thread to allow subscribers to share informaton on tech info that will help them build the ships/weapons/tech gadgets they want in their collections and show them off to all the like minded fans. Please use this thread to post links to sites, blueprints, auctions and modelers that offer what the fans are craving. Additionally, please post photos of your projects and collections, be them models, toys, lego or anything remotely SG orientated you think fans may be interested in. Remember the copyright laws and don't go posting information that breaches them, primarily just acknowledge the creator and you should be right.

I will start this off with a current link to blueprints for a Goa'uld Mother ship currently being sold on EBAY.
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/STARGATE-SG1...item33682fd00f

There are only a few models and replica suppliers out there so please feel free to add your knowledge to this thread.

The ones I know of at this time are:
    [INDENT]CMX for 4" and 41/2" Stargate replicas
Quantum Mechanix(QMX)/Gensen figures for 1/129th scale Death Gliders models
Quantum Mechanix (QMX) for 1/129th scale replica of the Stargate F-302
    Lightspeed fine arts:
The Zatn'kitel or ZAT Gun:Closed position
    The Jaffa Staff Weapon
    The TER; Transphase Eradication Rod
The Mini Stargate: This authentic piece beautifully represents the Stargate in all its glory. Made of high quality resin and hand painted, this piece not only looks like the real thing but acts and sounds like it as well. Complete with lights and sound this replica perfectly duplicates the dialing sequence. Each one is numbered as one of an edition of 195.
    Coolmodels:
    The Jaffa Staff Weapon
    Ronon Dex hand gun

King of swords is another supplier that has all the pistols and guns of frontier models listed in post 2 plus the Transphase Eradication Rod (TER) from Stargate SG1. Also the Atlantis Shield generator.

Well it would appear this company has encountered the wrath of the copyright lawyers and is no longer supplying these items, what a shame, it's not like anyone else was making them.

Armoury hobbies has a full range of stargate ship models in miniture but they are very detailed, thet come with paint options.

Here is an excellent example of modeling from pepakura files it is a life size Horus helmet with full animatronics and there is step by step guide on how to do it for yourself including the amimatronics via the provided link.

Here is a site that has downloads of 3D models from the SciFi genere, this specific link goes to the stargate models. They include Ancient ships, puddle jumpers, x304, and ancient city of atlantis, weapons, stargates and control rooms.

For anyone after stands and display cases for their models, laser fire creations in the US does custom stands as per you request. There are some excellent examples on the site ranging from simple perspex to backlit stands, well worth a look. The prices are also very good compared to what I have been quoted locally for similar items (up to 1/4 of the price)

Well you've seen the ads, yes "sears" in Canada are offering Best block construction kits of the Stargate series with jaffa and everything and they are cheap as well, which is excellent.

The down side here though is that sear do not ship outside of Canada, and nowhere else seems to have them.

I have however made enquires through a US distributor of Best Lock products, who does ship internationally, to find out if they will be offering the kits, wont have an answer on that one though until after 02 Sep 12.

The distributor has contacted me and advised they will try to acquire some of the kits for resale, but as yet does not have any. Will keep you all posted. They will be offered for sale if available via international ebay sales from the US.

It looks like they will be available in the US in Oct 2012. Aust Distribution details to come. It also looks like there will be more kits to come.

Hi all attached are a few progress photos of my Gate Glider. I drew this up in Bonsai 3D rendering software from screen shots and info from Gate World and that other site that people seem to hate. I used a "3D UP" printer to build the model and have now got to the point where I have just finished filling and sanding, ready for priming. I have also done a Tel'tak and a model of the Ra mothership, but my camera battery just died, so please forgive the quality of the photos as these are the best I could get at the moment.
The model is made from luminescent plastic so I intend to leave the staff cannon core exposed (raw) so it glows in the dark.

    Direct info from the manufacturer.

"At the current moment, we have only shipped Stargate sets to Sears Canada and only sold to Family Dollar in the US and have had no orders currently for and retailers in Australia, so I doubt that any sets will start to appear in Australia this year but we are hopeful that we will sell these sets from 2013.
