This game is pretty good. There will be 4 more episodes coming that continue the story. They cost 400 microsoft points. Just download it from the marketplace.

Cream Cheese, the people's cheese.
i thought about downloading it, but i'm currently out of ms points![]()
Hrm...it's not an XBLA game. It's a game, which happens to be being sold on XBL in addition to other outlets (ie: Steam)![]()
Kind of makes me wish I had an Xbox.
MS - "Boy, wow that's a great question!"
"...phu...ah..."
"Anyone know what SENTIENT means???"
Thank You SPARTACUS For An Amazing Ride.
Currently episode 1 is free to dl on XBL until Dec. 31st.
But for TODAY ONLY the other 4 episodes are half price....200 MSP with a US account. It's part of the daily countdown to the new year specials.
For only 800 MSP or $10US I'm definitely getting these today. I was going to wait for the price of the disc copy that just came out earlier this month to drop in price, but can't beat this deal if you are interested in the game.
I haven't started playing it yet (been busy with ME3) but will soon.
IMO always implied.
I have been playing TWD game episodes all day and I will say it is a bit addictivebut the control thing is a bit awkward to get used to at first and the camera angles when maneuvering leaves a lot to be desired....but I've had a lot of fun with it
![]()
It was addictive. I couldn't stop playing and knocked them all out in a day.![]()
Couldn't wait to see what happened next....
Yeah the controls took a little getting used to. I've never played a point and click game before.
I plan to go back through and do some other choices to see what it changes up. Good story/characters but geez just as depressing as the show. Not exactly a festive holiday game. lol.
IMO always implied.
So Jealous![]()
Sorry. I don't guess you've ever tried the work around of creating a US or UK account on your console. Don't know the particulars to doing that myself but see people talk about doing that all the time to get games not available to them or at different prices.
Maybe you all will get it sometime soon as read that Australia approved the 18+ rating and hopefully Telltale will try to get the game certified there.
The game is rather violent and includes you being able to kill children.Spoiler:
The are suppose to be working on a season 2 for the game.
IMO always implied.
Telltale has said they will do a second season and try to tie it in with the first by having your game save carry over. But I doubt it will release anytime this year.
The Walking Dead has sold 8.5 million episodes
Hopefully that is a good take for them. Especially since this doesn't include the holiday sales like xbox had. Even though they cut the price to $10 for all eps, that still had to have paid off for them as a ton of people had to have taken advantage of that. On the gaming site I frequent, they track the stats of games for its members (TrueAchievements.com) and in the month of December they had 9,393 gamers start this game for the 360. Course the first ep was free for over a week in December so they all probably didn't buy the rest of the eps but I'm betting most did.Telltale's acclaimed episodic series The Walking Dead has sold over 8.5 million episodes, CEO Dan Connors told The Wall Street Journal. Connors said that about 25 percent of the sales come from iOS devices, and "at about $5 per episode, that's roughly more than $40 million in sales, not including any promotions."
As to what other games I'm playing....

awesomeThanks for the info..yeah those game stats for TWD are pretty impressive...I just wonder how many would keep playing now. Since it is a pretty successful TV series it makes since that the game would do well.....but I wasn't completely satisfied with how your decisions mattered. I really wish they could work on that. I mean honestly if it's just a minor effect you have on basically how the characters like you then that is pretty minimal and I would think that would get old. I like to know that I could go back and make different choices and save characters or make a big impact on who may live or die or how the actual story plays out. That would be awesome...might be a programming nightmare but well... I really do believe this is the direction gaming is going.
as for other games...sorry didn't mean to high jack this thread with that but oh well.... I'll spoiler it:Spoiler:
I agree. I'm hoping that in the second season they will try to incorporate this more and have it change up events. I can see them not allowing you to change the really big stuff like say the final outcome of the game, but having other things leading up to the end play out differently would be nice. I still quite enjoyed the game though. Thought they did a really good job with the story. When I played this I knocked it out in a single day because I wanted to see what happened next.
There's going to be a new Walking Dead game that is really trying to cash in on the success of the tv show. The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. Honestly this one looks like a complete dud. Its supposed to star Daryl, but even he's not enough to make me want to get this game.
