Default How the Salish 'Spirits' would Counter Priors Trying to Harm Them

We observed that the aliens impersonating the Salish Indians' religously-based Spirits seemed to be able to do some technologically advanced acts, especially to protect themselves and their Salish friends. If the Ori sent a Prior to their planet and tried to force them and their salish prtoectees to convert to origin by threatening to inflict dire conquences, do you think they could resist successfully if the Priors didn't use one of their warships? How would they fight back?

A Priors abilities are formidable but he must be focused and aware of how he needs to use them. I think the Spirits would easily bang their forearms together before the Prior would know what was going on.

However, we do not know exactly how the Spirits abilities work. Perhaps the Prior would sense them coming.

Makes sense. Some forum users have even commented that they feel the Spirits are so powerful that they might even be the Furling. Of course, a Stargate SG-1 producer replied that they aren't actually the Furling, so we know they're not.

That is to bad because they fit pretty well in with the Nox. The spirits are the best cannon option I can think of for the Furlings. The writers really should have just said "yes", they are left over Furlings.

I wonder what exactly happened to the people they 'wonked out of existance though.. Did they really die? Or did they just get "teleported" elsewhere (like out of phase)?

The Spirits do indeed seem to respect the idea of living in such harmony with nature. I used to think that they could be the Furlings b/c no other race SEEMED to be able to do what they did. However, I then considered comparing them to the 3 'Great Races' we've seen. While I believe they're more advanced than the Go'auld and even possibly more advanced than the Tollan , I somehow started not think they displayed any powers on par with those 3 races. i could very well be wrong tho. What about the Crsytal Skull Aliens? Unfortuinately, the wrtiers decided to just forget about exploring the Furling further and maybe hoped we did too. It's up to fanfic writers like you and me to explore what the Furlingmay be like.
