Who can say for sure. I do think that they would have at least made the attempt if their baby had lived.

Probably not on Earth, although they might have, if he'd proven himself with information that would either let Earth head off the planned attack altogether or at least deter an all-out assault. Varro was willing to betray his clan in the Lucian Alliance after all.
