Let's see, well, everything.![]()
I think the thing I liked the most and am missing the most was the idea of people stranded out on their own, having to learn to work together, to trust each other, and learn that they have it in themselves to survive. Towards the end of season 2, we see these people starting to really get the idea that their salvation has to come from themselves not from the Earth. The use of the stones earlier was like a pacifier for the crew, and I think held up their natural progression towards self sufficiency. Which is quite interesting, by the way. This is what people often do in crisis, look to someone else to save them. It takes much courage to face the facts and do what is necessary.
I also loved all the very human problems they face along the way. I liked the idea of "the wrong people" i.e. not military trained to be in strict compliance and discipline. It was more of an average society like most of us live in. Some people have said because they are all scientists, that they could not be average, but not so, being smart has nothing to do with emotional intelligence. Scientists are just as screwed up as the rest of us. Frankly I enjoyed the difference from the previous shows in that these people where not that willing to get along at first.
What I miss most is the potential for future episodes resolving what happened at the end of Season 2.
So far; the normal moments that happened on the ship. All of the moments involving action, character and sci-fi felt like they were trying way too hard.
Who do you love?

The Premise of the show (To me), Humanity having to find it's own "destiny" and explore it. I will never fault SGU for a lack of vision.
I moved on to other shows and well.. lifebut I still miss it sometimes and think frak, why couldn't they realize their so called five year season plan.... It would have been the first SG show with a real beginning, middle and an end.... oh well but I can't really explain what I miss, I guess everything, the actors and actress, the set, the music, the stories..... but we got at least two seasons!

Favorite Shows ( for now ) : Battlestar Galactica ( re-imagined ), LOST, Stargate SG1, SGA, SGU, Alias, 24, Game of Thrones, All Joss Whedon Shows ( Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse ), Fringe, Boardwalk Empire, Homeland
Well, what I would miss is seeing the Com Stone device finally destroyed so we can cut Earth out of the series. What I shall miss is the very character of Nicholas Rush who was proven smarter than Rodney. What I missed even when the show was on was seeing the Stargate active and if I'm really, really lucky then see the rare white wormhole of the Destiny gates which they showed only in Air, I think. What I shall miss is Destiny itself. What I shall miss is Rush vs Young. What I shall miss is Stargate Universe. What I shall miss is the franchise.
The journey and the dream, this series would have been able to take us far and to discover wonderful secrets on the universe. The characters are going to miss me, Rush especially but not whom him, Young évidement and also the others passenger, I am on that one truth cohesion would have exist. The discovery of Destiny, what he hides, what he can make. In brief, this series had an enormous potential...

I guess I'll miss the characters the most, particularly Rush, Eli, TJ, and Greer. I did end up liking them all though by the end, so I'll miss them all, and I'll miss learning more about them, and finding out where Destiny would lead them.![]()
+1000000. That we will never know
A) Does the team ever manage to get to the end and figure out the meaning of that 'code'
B) did eli manage to fix the tube?
C) were the calculations right and they only went 3 years?
D) did earth ever manage to convince the Langarans to let them use the gate as a supply spot?
E) is rush actually smarter than Eli or rodney? Or is he just more conniving?
For me, the core group are the ones i will miss..I guess I'll miss the characters the most, particularly Rush, Eli, TJ, and Greer. I did end up liking them all though by the end, so I'll miss them all, and I'll miss learning more about them, and finding out where Destiny would lead them.

I hate cliffhangers, so I miss to see if their plan works, if they all will survive. I miss Rush but also Young. I want to know what's at the end of their journey. I miss SGU![]()
