Lt. Col.,
Thank you very much. Obviously it's a play on Robert Carlyle's Character on "Once Upon a Time" and Rush.
Could we get him back if SGU were revived?
[edited for being a dofus where did I get "James" from?]

All plot and no character makes for a dull story... All plot and no character makes for a dull story... All plot and no character makes for a dull story... All plot and no character makes for a dull story...

yay i got it right
What I miss about the show is the show.
RUSHY'S REVIEWS: Games, books, movies, everything. You name it, I'll do it.

I will miss the Destiny and its awesome Stargate the most, the craziness but yet extremely intriguing journey of Dr. Rush. I will miss the Lucian Alliance storyline(and the awesome Commander Kiva) which I thought was great to have a enemy from the older show spreading its influence to new heights. I will also miss the great characters of TJ,Chloe,Eli,Telford, and well in the end It got harder to not miss everyone. The show really found its footing in the second season.
It really isn't fair SG1, SGA, and SGU all ended prematurely.![]()
simple look at my sig read the text look at the pics

I also really will miss the concept that everything they do have consequences, not maybe in the next episode, but in the 3rd or 4th.
The other two where missing that sometimes.
ESTCube-1. Estonia is now a space state ^_^
I chose the Gate avatar, because it was very difficult to choose between SGU character pictures of someone I'm like and someone I like : >
I miss almost everything of the show, especially the original music by Joel Goldsmith and musical montages and the uncompromising attention to detail, and the cast and, and, and nearly everything! ^_^
Except perhaps Eli's screaming at the start of every episode in S2...

Rush, first and foremost. I would have loved to see what his end game was. Generally I liked the way he was written and I liked how he was acted even better.
Destiny. An amazing cg design with aspects that finally showed some respect for the discipline of engineering.
The visual effects - sun diving, aero-braking, trans-galactic cruising. Eye orgasms everywhere. On this same point in fact I think the visual effects team managed to do something that I feel other scifi shows had been failing to do: they actually made space seem big again. As massive as Destiny was, it was always just a tiny blip in the massive engine of the universe, and that to me was amazing. I shiver to think what else they may have achieved given the opportunity.
The characters - not the greatest of interaction but more than passable for what I could want out of tv. Dry wit from Brody, sheepishness from Volker, cuteness from Park, with Greer's harder edge (which was never over acted I think which is a credit to the actor), there is much to miss from that cast.
Rush, Rush, Rush nice call blackluster
Well, everything of course, the characters, the music, the Destiny, the Stargate.
What I loved about this show was it's unpredictability-you never knew where each episode was going to lead-just like a true journey. I loved that.
There are so many shows-even shows I like where you can figure out how it will end-but not SGU.
I truly miss this show![]()
after reading Pere's post i must say i loved the PROPER soundtrack hated the use of songs bar the one in Air when the Co2 scrubbers are reactivated but i loved the difference to the SG-1 and SGA soundtracks
Just popping in to say that I miss having conversations about the show with you all, as well.
Goodbye and Good Travels, Destiny!
