Oz Comic-Con 2012 (Adelaide and Melbourne)

Pity that Colin Cunningham is no longer able to attend Perth or Melbourne. He has work commitments. I wonder if there will be other guests announced. Time is getting shorter.

i got my souvenir DVDs on Thursday. so far i have only watched the Jewel Staite panel. no problems. i will update when i have watched more of the DVDs.

today i attempted to watch the Corin Nemec and Gigi Edgley panels but they don't work. when i go to play them it doesn't load. it just stays on the menu.
i did get to watch the Ben Browder panel though. i missed most of it when i was there. so it was good to see it in it's entirety.

i found by chapter skipping u can get to the Gigi Edgley and Corin Nemec panels. there are 9 chapters in all, Corin's is chapter 8 and Gigi's is chapter 9.

watching the Gigi Edgley panel right now and she talks about ant on Farscape a few times. i was just wondering what or who is that? i still haven't seen all of the series so i don't get quite what she is talking about there.

Yeah I was bummed to hear he could no longer make it, he was one of the actors i'm still yet to meet from Stargate and would have loved the opportunity. Being that he was a guest of the "Gift For The Geeks" guys, I doubt they will replace him considering they are bringing three other guests to the con, but I am glad that the Oz Comic-Con crew managed to pull Jason Mamoa when Tia cancelled. I can't wait to meet him.

Yeah, I played the DVD's on my Laptop and was able to watch the panels that weren't playing on my DVD Player, I haven't tried using the chapter skipping on my DVD player yet but i'm guessing it will work that way on there too. It's still not very good considering the amount we paid for the dvd's, I expected more from Turncoat Studio's.

I haven't watched all of her panel yet, but my guess would be she is talking about Anthony Simcoe, the actor who plays Ka D'Argo.

the video quality of Jewel's & Gigi's VIP panels is terrible at times. it gets all pixelated and smushed together. mostly on the wide shots. and also the audio drops out of sync towards the end on Jewel's VIP panel. pretty disappointed considering it cost $51.32 including postage.

just watched the Farscape panel and it was good. but the start of it is cut off.
