Why weren't there an Ancients in SGU?

The Ancients, undoubtedly, knows the source of the back ground radiation since Ascension, so they see no need in boarding a redundant ship, with essentially a bunch of rug rats, who would all be clamoring for their diapers to be changed, and in need of a hot bottle, not to mention, wanting to spend some quality time with mommy and daddy. I think, the Ancients, like many other adults, would prefer to do anything, than to be boggled down with kids, playing a tedious elementary game, especially since, they're more interested in drinking beer, and playing Modern Warfare 3---my analogy of how they'd feel about hanging out with the SGU crew.

Technically they did, technically, but all in all, why would they want to help a bunch of retarded children, and who is to say, they weren't ready to deal with the Ori threat. I'm guessing that since they have universal crossing technology, once Ascended, it would be like zero for the lot of them to just leave this universe forever. And the way they helped was, that they didn't take an ascended being's weapon away from a bunch of snot nosed toddlers. They knew full well where the weapon was, but perhaps, they didn't agree to an Ascended person using it, and, wanted one of those toddlers to kill the adults for them.

Then perhaps their inability of involvement can be likened to modern day society who is so grossly Political Correct, that even if some one wanted to marry a cow, they'd be hard pressed to stop them, or even further, perhaps, they're like the lot of us trying to stop SOPA Stop Online Piracy Act that Congress wants to start which will make it even illegal to sing happy birthday on a video, or have any image, sound, or bit of data, sentence or any equates of anything created by anyone else, even ideologies, and that you and the website, and the host, and the server can all be shut down, no matter if a billion people post a year, and if, one of that number commits a folly---

Essentially, I'm trying to stop that, but, by doing so, I unintentional support Gore threads, and Beastility threads, since they'd be affected if SOPA is passed. But all I want to do is stop SOPA and not support Gore and beastial. That's the Ancients I guess.

The Ancients were thoroughly covered in SG-1's final seasons and Atlantis. The writers probably wanted to move away from them in favor of getting back to focusing on the characters simply being on their own.

Yes, actually the Ancients story line was "old" news, but maybe we would have seen some association with them if the series had continued. Perhaps the rouge Ancient hanging out for fun and taunting of the zoo animals on Destiny!

If the show had continued, it's possible we might have seen the Ancients eventually. Perhaps a group separated from the Pegasus Ancients and flew off to a distant galaxy only to be discovered by Destiny? Imagine Destiny finding a world that made the Lanteans and Asurans look primitive by comparison.
