Since Young is already there, he's my first choice. However, if Jack O'Neill was there, I'd choose him.

Rush has already shown that he's not the greatest in command. Young can get the job done well enough. I still wouldnt trust Telford in the job. O'Neill of course would be killer at it. If i had my choice, i'd put Carter in charge, personally.

To my knowledge Rush has never been in command, and Young was so poor (before he started listening to Rush) that it actually prompted a mutiny on board.

Then why in Twin Destinies did Young, Rush and quite a few others elect to stay on the ship, reject the chance to go home and opt to try and complete Destiny's mission instead?

Young has to try to keep a good political figure with Rush
