Did Jello kill Stargate Universe ?

Come to think of it, there sure was alot of Jello shown in the mess hall and various sets at Stargate Command...

But as it is very cheap and colorful, it was an easy/cheap way to show food without blowing the budget. Probably was alot of plastic chicken and hamburgers also...

It's also relatively resistant to the heat and delays of a TV studio

I never could get used to blue Jello, I just don't trust food that is a unnatural color. Jello itself bothers me also even though it is actually from natural by-products. Someone offered me a blue power drink the other day and I said no thanks. Yes blue Jello flashed across my mind, too!
