Lorne Greene played Adama in the original Battlestar Galactica.

I think he would've made a great Jedi.

And would've made a very interesting voice if he used his Adama's voice for Yoda.

Universal (I think it was Universal) was sued because it was claimed by Fox that BSG had ripped off Star Wars.

I did know about that, but I don't understand how that's ironic to the post.

They did. To be fair, there are similarities in the design aesthetic, and John Dykstra worked in special FX on both Star Wars and BSG, but that's about it.

Lorne Greene might've made a bit of a clumsy Jedi, even if he would have been about the same age as Guinness.
