True but seeing Darth Maul in action with his double-bladed lightsaber is a good reward for sitting through the rest of it.
I tell you Teal'c, hockey is the coolest game on Earth!

Did you not say it is played on ice, O'Neill?

That was excellent! And painfully brief!

How badass would it be if they made a telemovie out of this storyline?

It was way too brief!!! I almost screamed no at the tv when the end credits started.

A telemovie for this storyline would be totally awesome!!!

    Spoiler:
I really want to know what will happen with Kenobi and Ventress on the way to wherever they were going at the end.

The trivia for tonight's episode has show up on the TCW official site now:

    4.22 Revenge
    Spoiler:
    A WRETCHED HIVE
In the finished episode, Asajj Ventress is in the Mos Eisley Cantina when she discovers that Savage Opress has a hefty price on his head. In the background are Embo, Sugi and Seripas. In the original script, she was to be in a bar on Florrum, frequented by Hondo Ohnaka's pirates.

    WANTED
Among the bounties listed are: Nim Mindbend, a Siniteen, wanted dead for 120,000 credits for kidnapping, theft and murder; Omar Toggs, a Rodian, wanted dead or alive for 75,000 credits for racketeering and extortion; and Zug Tassik, a Trandoshan, wanted dead or alive for 800,000 for mass murder. Though the hunters say Savage is worth a million credits, his on-screen bounty only lists 550,000. His warrant lists "fleeing the scene of a crime."

    MAUL DESIGN ORIGINS
Maul's cyborg form was first defined in illustrations by ILM concept artist Aaron McBride (seen on the left), developed for a 2005 graphic novel, Star Wars: Visionaries.

    I LIKE TURTLES
The Turtle Tank design was inspired by Dave Filoni's pet turtle, Goji.

    NOT LOST IN SPACE
For those wondering, the Turtle Tanker is not stranded in space without its cockpit/escape pod. There is a secondary command module in the ship. It's where Maul sits at the end of the episode.

Yep, I loved this arc but it was way too brief. I knew that Ventress and Obi-Wan would be outmatched the moment Obi-Wan was disarmed.

I did find it interesting though that Mother Talzin would be actively helping Savage since he did turn on Ventress. Then again, Ventress was also essentially ditched by Mother Talzin...

Well I think everyone will be pleased to know that not only will Maul return in Season 5, but Dark Horse is also going to be doing at least one 'graphic novella' focused on what he's up to between seasons 4 and 5.

I agree with what everyone has been saying, that while the finale was awesome i think it could have lasted longer

It would be cool if they could get Ian Mcdiarmid to voice him

Makes me wonder what Talzin is up to and what Ventress may do when she finds out. Ditching Ventress is one thing, but ditching her and helping Savage. Ventress will be seeing red.

Well, finally got to see this episode and wow! this has made me want more!
I thought that they would all survive their first encounter, but what an episode!
When I saw that there was only 3 minutes left of the episode, my heart sort of sank as I wanted more!
Was getting abit worried that it would be a one episode showdown, but glad we will see Maul in Series 5.
Also, some nice one liners from Obi Wan.
Anyone know when we will be getting it?

Either late September or early October, presumably. That's when every season so far has premiered, so I think it's a safe bet to assume Season 5 will do the same.

At the moment Ventress only knows that she has a new destiny ahead of her, as Talzin told her. But when she does find out that Talzin's been helping Savage and Maul, she'll definitely be pissed.

This is just a guess, but perhaps Talzin is helping Savage and Maul because she thinks assisting them will somehow ensure the survival of the Nightsisters/Nightbrothers? I'm not really sure why she ditched Ventress considering that Ventress has tried to do everything that the clan has asked of her and more.

I'm not really sure why you guys are thinking that Ventress will be pissed with Mother Talzin.... It's not like Talzin left her to die or tried to kill her or anything, she just sent her on her way when there was nothing left to be done with the sisterhood

I don't think she'd be pissed with Talzin for leaving alone on Dathomir. However, Ventress isn't exactly friends with Savage and Maul. Talzin helping the two of them doesn't constitute an act of friendship on the part of Mother Talzin. Knowing how Ventress, I don't she'll she'll be happy that someone who's been helpful to her in the past (Talzin) is now indirectly working against her.

I don't even know about that. Sure Talzin is very much exercising the "left hand doesn't know what the right is doing," but it's not like it was ever to the detriment of Ventress. She's brought Ventress into the fold, and unleashed Savage against Dooku with the full knowledge and consent of Ventress. Talzin continued to to try to kill Dooku in this arc without Ventress's help.

Sending Savage out to find Maul is....interesting, but in no way related to Ventress. Her seeking out Savage for the bounty in the finale is totally her own doing, Mother Talzin had nothing to do with that.

What's really got my brains stewing though, is why Talzin is interested in bring Maul back into play. Why is she doing it? What's her endgame? What role does she expect Maul to play? Will Savage even matter in the long run, or is he just a tool to retrieve Maul?
