Star Trek Bridge Commander Mod Installation

Hi guys! I need some help with Star Trek Bridge Commander. I want to install mods, but I don't know how. I have tried to do it whithout any program, but the problem is always in the file I download the files have the type .py but the game works with .pyc file. I have also tried with Star Trek Bridge Commander Mod Packager, but I don't know how to use it and I don't know if this is the right program to do that. For example I want to install:

If there is anyone who has this game and know to install mods, PLEASE HELP ME!!!

The fastest way to do this is to install the Kobayashi Maru and then the SG ship pack

step 1. Download and instal 1.1 patch for BC (google )
Step 2. Download and instal KM (it's the .rar one )
Step 3. Download and instal SG ship pack 3 ( it somewhere on filefront if you search well ) .
Step 4. Come back to Gateworld .

Now if you need any more detailed instruction just post here , every download should have a readme that carefully underlines the steps but if you are in doubt just ask

PY is simply a Python code file. PYC is a compiled python file. The game engine uses Python as its programming language.

And again, yes, it is a very great game. Compared with the stock game, the mods take it to a whole new level, and raise the system requirements significantly.
