Thanks for the advice Kimberlyrose. I started to turn off the ringer and the alarm still works. I am glad because the alert sound wakes me up every time.

New guest: Thomas Dekker. Sara Connor Chronicles, The Secret Circle; Heroes. I watched Heroes, but I don't remember him.

Cool guest. I found this on IMDB about his Heroes role "Zach is Claire Bennet's best friend. Although both are in high school, they have barely spoken since sixth-grade until Claire discovers and begins to understand and develop her powers. Zach is a part of the "uncool" clique at their high school. He encourages Claire to be in touch with her "inner-freak", until Claire's father, Noah Bennet, wipes Zach's (among other characters) memory clean via the Haitian." Hope that helps. Still hoping for a few more gate guests. And I can see why they added Mr. Dekker to the list as he was also on ST:V when he was a lot younger.

About 5 p.m. is when the con shuts down. The dealers' rooms usually shut down a little earlier.

This is my first time at Shore Leave. I have done other Cons though. I love Kate Mulgrew and Ryan Robbins is a dream. I have seen both of them before but have never done photos ops with either of them. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people. None of my friends are attending this one, so I'm on my own.

Just bought a new set of luggage for a great price. I need it after the fiasco that was my suitcase last year. The handle broke just as I was getting it out of the car to take into the hotel. Not going to happen this year.
