Anyone know where I can buy a full-sized Zat?

With holster would be nice. Don't need lights/sound, but I'd really like for it to have spring action like in the show. I'm thinking ahead to next year's comic-con

Propworx has an upcoming auction of actual Stargate props including Zat guns.

Here are the listed auction pages for the Zats.

Hero Zat Gun and according to the description the open and close actions requires a hydraulic hose and pump.

    Zat Gun and Shoulder Holster

    closed Zat

    Zat Gun and Hip Holster

    open Zat

Don't know if your budget will be able to cover these items.

Legends still have full-sized Zat's, but the only ones that opened were the ones used during filming.

Frontiermodels in the UK sends to the whole planet. They have kits for TERs and Zat'nik'tels (open, closed, and folding=can open and close, but not automatically):

        http://www.frontiermodels.co.uk/Repl...p-2-c-326.html

They are near bottom of the page. You need to polish them, paint them, glue them together yourself. Or pay them 60 pounds extra and they will do it for you. Prices are 55, 60, or 80 pounds depending on if it is open, closed, or folding. That is BEFORE shipping.

If you want to go for painting one yourself and avoiding the 60 pounds extra, I found manuals several places on the internet. Here are two:

I think the first also have a manual for a holder, somewhere. Maybe the second has too - I think I may have seen one there also. They seem to link to each other, so I am guessing they are related in some way. The second zat'nik'tel manual is more thorough.

If anyone else, not from the US, wants to follow the manuals and paint their own zat'nik'tel (and I agree the second one is better), then rub'n'buff can be hard (impossible) to find in stores, but I found it on Amazon. And they did ship it (from the UK store).
