    Sigh, yeah, you're right.
Steam have listed it recently (outside of the game). Steam got my hopes up, I hope I didn't get yours up too. Although I've decided not to buy/play it straight away, I'm going to wait until after all my exams finish.

Yep I just bought it on mine. $14.99 is a bit steep for DLC, so I hope it's worth it.

OMG how did I miss this thread?

I LOVE THE FIRST GAME. Hate the second game. Feel so so about the 3rd one.

I loved the story woven into the first game and you know how many of you think there is a tiny grain of truth there? I kind of wonder.

Has anyone had compatibility issues running DX 1 and 2 under Windows 7? I am tempted to try mine again but I had glitches with the first game and th 2nd one refused to run unless the graphics were dialed back to 640x480 It wouldn't do higher modes.

For DX1, set the affinity (number of cores) to 1, this eliminates the cut scene glitches.

Save often, because you can also get this other error which is unavoidable after it happens, even after loading. If it happens, you have to go back to the previous previous save and kill everyone (just use cheats/tantalus since you've already done it). That usually fixes it. It's a loop in the AI that causes this crash.

Any solutions for getting Invisible War to work with high resolutions?

I mean I play stuff like Crysis with no problems.

I'm sorry, I haven't touched that, nor plan to
Have you tried changing the renderer? For DX1 you can find some online , you could try that for DX2 (if one of the others provided doesn't work).

I have never had any issues with DX in Win7. My current install is the Steam version.

IW can DIAF, seek no help here

The first DX works on my system but the 2nd one well it won't unless I reduce the graphics resolution to something aweful. the 3rd one will run but on the website "can you run it" they say I need quad cores

Ok cool that means I can too. I sometimes wonder about the ratings on that site.

Hey guys just curious. What sort of prices do you pay for Deus Ex Human Revolution in the USA and in the UK and elsewhere?

Over here the game is $79.95 in most stores but I scored a copy on sale for $47 and am waiting for it.

Also with the 2nd game which a lot of people do not like, it had 4 different endings depending on what you did so how does the new game fit in?

I paid $59.95 for the Augmented Edition on the PC, although mine's a digital download off GamersGate.

And as for Human Revolution, it's a prequel to the first two games so it doesn't need to worry abou which ending to follow from either one. It does have a number of nods to Deus Ex (as in the first game) though.

It's excellent IMO, and much closer in spirit to the first game than Invisible War.

Surprisingly, here in the UK it's currently only £11.95 for the standard edition at Zavvi.com on PC and consoles.

Where the hell are you shopping? It's $50 on Steam, less when it goes on sale.
