It shouldn't be that hard for them (assuming the show were still on, whaaaaa) to rig a kino with light beams shooting out of it, and to have it hover near the ceiling and spin. That would be awesome!

not sure if u understand the concept of a MALP Mobile Analytic Laboratory Probe, but id say that is exactly what a kino is, regardless of what it looks like. a reconnaissance drone capable of assessing atmospheric conditions and element components aamong other things, plus give audio and visual feedback, just like a malp.
to answer the question, id call it a flying malp
