Did I see and hear Rush throw Chloe to the wolves by blaming her for the FTL dropping in and out? WOW!! He is going to take a big fall when it is discovered that he broke the master code and have been working on the bridge without telling anyone. .

I agree. This was not my favorite episode and I am one who is done with the Wray/Sharon thing. I do understand that Wray ended up being the answer to Eli's problem for that I give credit. This episode moved a little slower than I was expecting. I did like the Greer/Simeon confrontations and him playing protector for Dr Park. It was good to see Koz is still being shown as one of the prisoner just no speaking part.

My question is how much will he regret it? How will the crew feel about the deceptions and the death of one life and possibly a second. That is depending if everyone knows about the entire deception from "when" he actually broke the code through the time it is discovered. Rush has done a good job of deflecting so it is possible no one may know everything that us, the viewer has seen.

As he should be. He can't just keep everyone in the dark like he is. He can't play with their lives like he has been.

This is one of those episode where nothing crucial happens. Its a building episode in that many arcs of the show are developed by significant solution. Human was such an episode like this one.

The major one is Chloe and Rush in how the character finally (we the audience knew it a long time ago) realize that the Blues did something to Chloe. Somehow advanced her inteligence and who knows what other factors. This feels like classic science fiction. An alien messing with someone' anatomy is hardly a foreign but it still has that SGU feel of not easily solved and what it means a little more uncertain.

Also when after I thought Rush could not sink any lower he is using a person who is in danger medically to further his own goals. The sickness of using Chloe to solve his math problems which I can only assume are related to the bridge at the risk of her own health. Not to mention framing her for things he himself has done. I guess if Rush gets by it doesn't matter who gets hurt (I admit that is a little of an exagerration). As for the end its a little 70/30 Rush to Chloe to blame. Yes we can fault Chloe for not telling the others she is still infected but its still Rush using her fear of no freedom to understand the bridge more.

As for the character stories on Earth. I like seeing Eli to help him mom to get out of her depression and show then bond between the two even if the ending was predictible but the Camilie story seemed pointless. I will give that Wray surprised me when she ordered that Mrs. Wallace get security clearence.

Robert Carlyle directed this episode, and I think he did a wonderful job. Those emotional scenes with himself and Gloria, especially Eli and Mom, and Camille and Sharon were very well done. I found myself getting a little teary in the ones with Eli and his Mom, and a bit with the talk outdoors between Eli and Camille. And I loved the little bit near the end where Sharon comes to meet Eli's Mom; they each now have somebody they can lean on a bit. I haven't quite decided what I think of the whole Chloe scenario; it's interesting, that's for sure. Also have to wonder what the LA is up to after that confrontation between Varro and Simeon.
