Captain Ovcharenko, who awoke when Donnelly shook her, sat up on the bunk as soon as the emitter of the shriek of the damned got smashed under Squadron Leader's shoe. Her head was ringing from the sound and ears were painful, but she chose to ignore it and pretended to be still sleeping with her teeth clenched. She wasn't about to let her second in command mess with her either. The woman nodded at Donnelly, feeling her head returning back to life.
"Thank you, Captain."
Elena pulled on her boots in no time and stood up, turning to Raiden, eyes emanating anger and nostrils moving heavily as she was breathing in and out. She spoke slowly, each word clear and sharp as a glass shard.
"Lieutenant Kusanagi, after we'are on the ground, we will have a very serious conversation, and if you will end up with a fifty kilometres quick march in full equipment before a week of kitchen duty at StarGate Command, consider yourself lucky!! Now move your butt!"
She raised her voice.
"All right, team, you surely heard the alert sounded! Get up! Drop in three minutes!!"
And Scorpio rushed to get ready for the jump herself, not waiting for the rest to jump on their feet, knowing (or at least hoping) that in 1,5 minutes they all will be good to go.
