Which actor played the best villian?

Lots of questions about who your favorite villian or who was the most evil villian. But what I want to know is who do you think as far as acting goes played the best villian. Who acted the best as the villian.

Mine was the actor who played Sokar. He was not too over the top like like the Goa'uld tend to be.

At first I was going to say Apophis, but come to think of it I would say David Palffy for Sokar. He also acts as Anubis, which would be hard because of the lack of facial expression.

I think Ronny Cox, who plays Kinsey, is the best. He does a really great job with him, IMHO, in every single episode he's in.

he's so quietly menacing and not over the top like anubis is. nuby is a joke. i know he was meant to be this spooky faceless thing....but he's so camp that he's rather funny. reminds me of dark helmet

i would say kinsey - kinsey is an enemy but was also in a powerful position so sg-1 had to be careful in the way they acted.

One more for Cliff Simon; his whole look & sound are so *evil* (I'm a sucker for SA accents as well!!).
Ronny Cox is excellent as well, Kinsey really winds me up.
John De Lancie as Simmonds is another great one - I get all tense with hate & frustration in his eps!

Neriti - Jackie played the role so very well. She knew the character well enough to write her own death scene. There was a "mad scientist" to her rational, like "you all just lab rats to me .. human or Gou'ald."

I'd say it was between Ba'al and Kinsey. They're two great villains If I had to pick one I'd probably go with Kinsey. He's got a slightly more evil edge to him

I agree. Cliff Simon plays him so calm--I think that makes him more menacing.

is it just me, or is anubis kind of short?

the guy who plays baal definety does a very good job.

I think alot of apophis' character comes from the way peter williams looks in the costumes, his lines never really seem to be that good, but he acts the part.

Hathor i'd have to say is the worst Goa'uld.

Anubis has one of funniest scenes ever.

"You're too late, the power of the ancients is mine." then O'Neill walks right through the hologram.
