All things Replicator (Gemini Spoilers)
Wanted to start a new thread on this to focus more on dealing with the Replicators since they've become immune to the Replicator weapon. Personally I think every race in our galaxy, and possibly the Asgard's, is screwed unless they find some way to salvage the Ancient weapon. Unless I'm missing what a cipher is, I'm assuming Replicarter was able to change her communication pattern at the onset of the Replicator beam. And that the beam doesn't emit a signal at all frequencies. So it could be possible to transmit a lower intensity pulse at a higher bandwidth to overload the communication over time. The weapon could work as a poison instead of as a death ray.
Granted, the Ancient weapon was extremely powerful but without it, we're back to square one unless the Ancients intervene (or Xels and Nox) or we find a stockpile of glowing jellyfishes that have the effect of tearing through replicators without exploding.
On a side note, if the Replicators appear a lot more in season 9, we might see a Nox-Replicator confrontation assuming the Nox come out of their pacifist mode. We don't know how many colonies the Nox have in the MW but they'd likely be the next step for the Replicators because Replicarter has Carter's memories and knows the location of the Nox colony and would likely swarm in on it to acquire the advanced tech.
