    Re: Stargate New Seasons ~ SG1 ~ Resurgence ~ Season 11 RPG ~ SG4 Missions

    147 Cmdr. Setsuna F. Seyei

    <SG4 Mission 1>

    <Soho London, back alley>

    {Raiden} - {Flt. Lt. Cate Hayden}

    "Very pleased to meet you guys," Raiden said. "Flight can I borrow that LSD (life signs detector)? With all this fog it's gonna be kinda hard to see someone if they try to creep up on us and I want to make sure that doesn't happen."

    <SG4 Mission 1>

    <Soho London, in front of flats>

    {Flt. Lt Catherine Hayden}

    "Elena, do you have it?" Cate remembered seeing her friend catch it as Ellis threw it to them. "That may be Raiden, but I'm more worried about once we're inside. Jim, is the building secure?" She asked her MI6 contact as they edged closer to the wall for protection. Cate looked across the street at the main entrance of the building, a low glow of light emmanated through the stained glass window.

    {Corporal Ty Jumuljun}

    Ty scanned the top of the building and the entrance, he didn't like it. He listened to the conversation between Cate and the MI6 spooks. The small woman Amanda replied. "We've moved all the other civilians out Flight Lieutenant, only our suspects on the third floor remain."

    "Yes but are they in their rooms or wondering about?" Ty thought to himself. "Captain, Flight. I think our best chance is to gain the top floor and swing over the balcony. See there." He pointed down the opposite side of the building where
    another lane way passed. There was an iron fire escape leading up to the very top, behind the balconies of each flat on that side.

      Ty lugged his pack and gear over and stood protectively near his CO, for some reason every time he looked at the Russian Captain, he wished ever so much he had followed his brother and become an officer, he knew she'd never look at him other than a grunt, to be given orders to, but he could try. "I'm bloody well damned glad to get out of that alley. I think something is dead back there."

      {Captain Elena Ovcharenko}

      The woman gave him a side look and whispered.

      "I always thought that it's better to smell death than to be dead, but we can discuss it later, Corporal, if you'll still have the will. We've a mission here..."

Amanda Tipping, IT specialist. We've been monitoring your friends for two days now. There is now eight of them in two adjoining flats with a common door between. Five males and three females, all of them are inside at the moment."
      Elena raised her voice, not leaving Tyrone a chance to reply now. If he wanted to chat, there will be the time for that later.

      "Nice to see you, people. Let's hope none escaped your discerning eye."

      They all moved closer to the wall and Scorpio pulled the required item from her pack.

      "It's right here, though I'd actually prefer to have it indoors..."

      Scorpio weighed the LSD on her palm thoughtfully.

      Lena rewarded her SG-4 newest member with an acknowledging look.

      "See? I'd say that thing will be more useful for us inside, though if you insist, Cate, I'll give it to Raiden." Now her gaze examined the top of the building, looking for the possible routes. "Well, that gonna be easier to climb up and down than mountains..."

        "Getting the job done is not a problem for me ma'am, it was more the smell of rotting garbage, old corpses I can handle, last weeks meatloaf is a bit harder." Ty said from the corner of his mouth, not taking his eyes of the building.
        "It's a two metre jump up to the drop ladder Captain, I can hoist you up and hopefully if it drops nice and quiet, we can gain the top floor and check these badasses from the apartment directly above using the LSD." he knelt down and placed his pack on the ground and fitted his made sure everything was secured tightly, any jingling of kit in this eeire fog will echo and carry for all to hear.

          "Yes Cate, the building has been secured as Amanda has said. We only have jurisdiction from here though, we cannot interfere unless we see a direct threat to Britain, which at this point we can't. But you have our full cooperation just the same." Agent James said quietly.

          "Thanks Jim." Cate stood nearer to SG4's CO. "It's up to you Elena, you're the boss, I'm just along for the ride. But I'd like at least someone to go through that front door. Corporal, once we're on the fire escape, do you think you can cover our six from inside?"

            "As good as done Flight." Ty said enthusiastically. "Cap'n when you're ready, I'll help the three of you up the fire escape if that's ok. Then give me a fifty count to get inside and onto the third floor, I'll double click my coms when I'm in position."

              Scorpio nodded acknowledging to her friend and turned to Ty, hiding LSD in her pack in the way she could easily reach it.

              "It's OK, Corporal. Now everybody check you gear and let's move quiet like a mouse in the grass. There's no need to spook the pray before we'll be ready to lunge."

              Elena jumped where she stood - no sound; it will do - and moved cautiously but determinied to the fire ladder, trying to keep with the shadows and being ready to any surprise.

                "All done Cap'n."
                Ty crossed the road first, scanning up and down the quiet street, a taxi pulled away from the curb a little further off, but U turned and went the other way, heart beating, he made it the rest of the way and stood below the drop ladder, he looked up. Yes about eight to ten feet. He knelt on the damp ground, the others would use his strong back as a step up and grab the bottom platform of the ancient iron structure. A quick swing and they would be above ground. He beckoned them over, signaling the all clear with a thumbs up.

                He noticed there were more than three MI6 agents around, he at least hoped they were, as they began spreading out either end of the building. Each one of them held a silenced pistol, in typical spook fashion. Ty waited for the others to join him.

                  {Flt. Lt. Catherine Hayden} + {Lt. Batou Kusanagi~Raiden} (NPC Temp)

                  Batou watched as the Corporal got into position, he saw him give the thumbs up in the dim light of an old yellowing lamp fixture somewhere nearby. "Captain, Flight. I think I should go first, at least with my weight, we'll see how strong Ty's back is." There was no humour in his face, just a matter of fact.

                  It was Elena's show, but she seemed to be pre-occupied with the upper windows of the building, Cate responded to Raiden. "Go for it...quietly. We'll be right behind you."

                  Hitching up his pack and slinging his weapons, Batou crossed the street on cats feet quickly. Without a pause he took several long strides and using Ty's back like a vault, he just barely managed to grab the lower iron frame of the fire escape and swing himself up. It groaned a little but not too loudly under him. He used his small torch and winked it twice at his companions.

                  Cate saw the two light flashes and turned to Elena. "After you." She held out her hand toward the road.

                    The damp wet mist that they found themselves in on the other side of the building, started to creep it's way around where Ty knelt. His knees hurt a little and he let out a low "Ummph" when Raiden's feet landed on his back. His palms began to sweat despite the cold miserable London night.

                    Bang! Crash! Meeeoowww!

                    Ty almost sh*t himself. "Bloody cats." He whispered. "Come on guys, what's taking so long." he said quietly as he waited for Cate and Elena

                      "Oh, well, if you really insist."

                      Elena flashed a smile at her friend and began crossing the street. Right when she was at the centre of the road, cats decided to misbehave a bit, making her freeze in place for a split second as she heard the sudden screech. Scorpio swore under her breath in her native, and moved further.

                      "Relax, Corporal, I'm here already. We're just cautious." - Lena whispered back to him as she moved closer, keeping herself nearly pressed against the building wall.

                      She looked up at the ladder, which Raiden was climbing up already. It was truly two meters above and she was a tall woman, so the Captain waited until her XO was at the top, raised her hands, grabbing the lower frame and pulled herself up, touching Ty's back only with one foot. The ladder groaned under her weight too, and Scorpio wasn't too fond about it, so she slowly climbed it, doing her best to keep the process quiet.

                        "I'm as relaxed as jello Cap'n" Ty whispered and at the same moment sirens wailed in the distance, dogs began to bark and directly above them from the third floor voices could be clearly heard. Which could only mean, their targets were either on their balcony, or at the least the balcony door was open. Ty lifted his head and this time he spoke softly into his coms. "Be alert, the rats are up."

                        He looked toward the Australian she was about to make her move. Her figure seem to cloaked in the mist and he could no longer see the MI6 spooks, which he did not like.

                          Hearing Ty's transmission, Cate unholstered one of her DE's and quickly fitted a silencer to it, she shoved it in her waistband and moved cautiously across the road, not taking her eyes off the third floor. When she was about three metres from the Corporal she increased her pace and lept with both booted feet square on the centre of his back, she sprung to the iron border of the lower fire escape. The hard edges felt they might cut her calloused hands, but she swung up and began to climb silently behind Elena and Raiden. Cate whispered to Ty below her. "Good luck Corporal. Two clicks when you're in position."

                          She caught up behind Elena on the second floor and slipped her ski mask over her head, and withdrew her gun, indicating to both her companions the silenced weapon. The voices one floor above were clear, a mixture of both male and female. She climbed higher, aiming for the fourth floor, one above their target.

                            Raiden stopped at the 2nd floor window and motioned for the Flight Lt. and Captain to proceed up to the 4th floor. "I'll cover your ascent and then breach from the third floor window." Just the sound of his own voice in the late London fog gave Raiden the creeps. Knowing that they needed to take at least 3 or 4 of the LA members alive Raiden exchanged his M1911A1 for his Wraith stunner (small version)(courtesy of the Atlantis Expedition). While waiting for the signal to breach Raiden attatched the locator beacons to quick releases on his belt so that he could tag any equipment he came across on the fly.

                              Not looking back, Ty kept close to the wall and slipped around the front of the building, he could no longer see the MI6 people and hoped they were still there, the fog was thick now and the hairs stood on the back of his neck. He'd watched far too many horror movies for his comfort. He went softly up the dozen or so steps and tried the glass paned door, the coloured light shone through the the stained panels in hues of blue, green, yellow and red. The handle turned easily and he edged the door open a little, taking out a mini-periscope he scanned the immediate area behind the door. A long carpeted hallway, doors either side, with a single stair case at the farthest end.

                              Within moments Ty was at the foot of the stairs, he had traversed the distance from the front and listened at every door along the way. He went up lightly on the first few steps to check for any timber creaking, relieved there was none, he quickened his pace. Soon he found himself on the third floor, he found the two adjoining rooms, nineteen and twenty-one. The voices were clear and harsh an argument seemed to be happening, but he did not understand the alien tongue. Above each door was a lift out window, both were open. Laying his pack quietly on the floor, he retrieved four flash-bangs, fitted his silencer to his Berretta and re-holstered it. The last thing he had to do was send the signal, but he hesitated as one voice drew nearer. Pressing himself against the wall, he drew his zat. Sweat poured from his face. A moment passed and the voice retreated. "Sh*t!" he swore.

                              Wasting no time, he clicked twice on his comslink.
