Scorpio smiled as as she saw Luna on skies, she always liked the stars, planets and space. Now when she could travel to them, they seemed to be even closer and appealing than before.

"Sometimes you wish you could say "food" and it'd appear with a table and seat right next to you. So let's check what do we have materializated here. But first a shower as I was taught that washing with a full stomach is bad for health."

She moved to the bathroom to finally attend to natural needs and have a shower before the meal. Fifteen minutes later, refreshed after a quick shower and having changed her business suit onto some clothing she bought for Iran, and even more hungry, Elena appeared in the galley.

"Well, found something edible here, guys?"

The small bathroom was adequate and the very small shower only just, but it served it's purpose. Cate showered quickly, washed her hair, dried it with a blower and re-plaited it, then dressed in the clothes she chose at the store. Sturdy cargo pants, T shirt and Polo fleece top. She satisfied herself that everything was in order and re-joined her friends.

The galley on the C17 could have been lifted straight from a 747, most likely it was a these things were modular anyway. An Air Force steward buzzed around offering them a variety of dishes and deserts. They had a choice of roast lamb and vegetables, or fish and chips. For desert, there was ice cream and red jelly or rice pudding. Cate chose the lamb and rice pudding. While she waited she began chatting. "I think Lena, we're kind of VIP's on this flight, it's not your usual military fare, I could get used to this." She fiddled with a napkin and place it on her lap and poured herself some Evian water. "So boys.." She addressed Adam and Raiden, any ideas on how we should deal with these Koreans once we've found them? That is if we can take them alive?"

Adam chose the lamb, he couldn't stand fish.

"Explosives and big guns, scare'em up," he replied, the corner of his mouth moved in what could have been a small smirk... or just a twitch, "they'll surrender."

Scorpio also chose the lamb as she had a common trait with Adam about any fish, but for the dessert she decided to treat herself with an icecream, as any kind of pudding was that little something that was capable of making her sick even in thoughts.

"Climb ranks up to a Major General and you've it always, Cate. And no explosions, please, until it's unavoidable. Big guns are OK, but we can always find time for some happy demolishing. Oh, and my idea of dealing with them is to shake some information out of them any means necessary... I recall one ultra-effective method... Five minutes and people tell you things that they don't know."

Elena also helped herself with some water, feeling her stomach snarling in waiting for some meat.

Batou sad pulling his Wraith stunner then setting a beacon on the table. "Oh, and I had a few new toys that i helped develope sent to me," Batou said while settting a case on the table. Opening the case revealed several strange devices. Batou looked at his CO and the Flight Lt. to see thier reactions.

Scorpio's curious look wandered first at the case opened in front of her, then she caught Cate's not less curious by the corner of her eye, and finally raised her eyes to meet gazes with Batou.

"These are personal size versions of the Asgard beaming nodes. Each one of the controllers is connected to the entire group but is keyed to the user's tracking beacon. If you get into a situation that is untenable you just hit the activation stud and BAM you are transported to a location that you set one of the nodes at. This means that you will be in a safe area and if you are injured will be able to call for a beam out without having to worry about an enemy taking you out while doing so. Or if you have a prisoner with more tangos on the way you can get your prisoner out without risking your life and his or hers," Batou explained. What he didn't have to say was that if they found Ty it was an easy way to get him out and get him help fast if he needed it.

She took her table knife, placed her right hand over her left on the table and plunged the knife down, of course it went through her fingers but it was a point given. "Then.." She giggled. "..you always said I could talk a prisoner into submission."

He wasn't quiet out of shyness, but because he wasn't one for small-talk, or most talk really, but he appreciated Cate's efforts. "I would rather blow the entire wall up," he give another almost-unnoticeable small smirk. His lamb was already gone, he had apparently been very hungry.

"Haven't we all," Batou said, rolling his eyes, "But as my CO will tell you if I've tested the tech and have put my stamp of approval on it then it's good enough for her............except that one time......," Batou trailed off as he caught the look on Elena's face.(Please don't say anything Cap.) he thought pleadingly.

Captain was savouring her lamb, while listening to all the chit chat at the table, looking at her friends as they spoke and letting their words meld with her brain. Elena winked at Cate and her knife games and made a knowing face at Adam's wish to blow the wall. She could do that herself easily, now the inch hole was something way harder. Ovcharenko cleaned the last bone of the yummy lamb and relaxed in the chair, wiping the napkin across her lips. She put it back on table.

"Well... Considering you sitting here in one piece... At least I hope so..." A subtle smirk marked her face for a split second. "Then these things are really neat. But poor rat... Like Barney Calhoun once said - I still have nightmares about that cat..."

Now Scorpio couldn't held back a giggle and started at the icecream in front of her, chuckling in her fist.

Her own plate empty Cate looked around for something else, the bread rolls were gone and she finished her desert, but still felt hungry. But that figured as none of them had a decent meal in almost seventy two hours, or sleep for that matter. Her tummy growelled restlessly. The conversation about Doctor Lee made her giggle, at least he wasn't as bad as Doctor Felger who she met once, between Lena and herself they could have taught him Apllied Physics. "Ah yes Adam, we can all do that. Thee months ago on an off-world mission we needed a very small opening in a wall about a foot thick. None of us knew exactly how to do it without a lot of noise, but Drake did. He is or was a member of our team then andthough he could be the most annoying man on the planet, he did very well with explosives. If you ever meet him you'll know why." At least now the memory of their one night stand was gone and she no longer smiled at the thought of him, or the scare she had a few days ago.

"Thanks Batou." She said grinning and popped it in her mouth and devoured it.

An alarm sounded on the plane, the hadn't even slept when the Captain's voice filled the small diner. "We've had some luck Captain Ovcharenko, we have a good tailwind behind us and we'll be arriving in Iran air spce an hour ahead of schedule, ETA now four and half hours, you better get some sleep, over."

The announce came just in time for Elena to finish her meal completely and wipe her mouth. She stood up and went to the bathroom, half-turning at the door to speak to her friends.

"Alright, you heard him. We need to get a nap. Oh, Cate, make sure they won't occupy my bed while I'm not here."

She smiled and winked at SG-4 and ducked in the small room to wash herself after meal and before sleep.

Still sucking her teeth a little from the lovely RAF food, Cate stood and stood nearby Lena. "We have bunks girl and I'm on top, I don't want to be underneath you again when you have midnight wind." She laughed and returned near the table.

The bunks were in small curtained suites either side of the diner come req room. There was no need to change except take her boots off. She pointed to the port side. "Okay you two over there, and if one of you so much as moves in our direction while we sleep, remember a cat always has one eye open." She stood there with hands on hips and waited. She was going to make sure of exactly where the boys were when she slipped into the sheets.

"I don't know about the new guy here, but you know I won't be trying anything Flight. At least not after that time you ....... well you know what I'm talking about," Batou said.

"If you so much as mention Drake's name I will shoot you okay?" She was over that and even though the whole team knew about that night and the drunken mess it turned into, she wasn't about to start a new game with Raiden. "Good night both of you, or what's left of it." She climbed up into the top bunk starboard side, pulled her boots and socks of and got under the covers, drawing the curtain across. She thought she wouldn't sleep, but in a few minutes she was breathing heavily and in her own space.

Adam kicked off off his boots and climbed into his bunk. He rolled onto his side, facing away from the girls, and quickly fell asleep.
