Somehow, I don't think it'll last going by what I've heard and seen, which is good, but like Moffat said, it diminishes the brand.

Regarding the end of the Reichenbach episode:
    Spoiler:
OK, assuming Sherlock somehow actually tossed Moriarty's body over the side (although it looked like he was waving his arms around so I don't know how that could be) and Molly was helping him and the guy on the bike who knocked John down was a diversion so they could switch places, I still am very curious to see how he managed to fake that!

I hope next season they do a variation on "The Three Garridebs" so that John can scare Sherlock enough to get back at him a little!!!

Doctor Who And Sherlock Join Forces For TV BAFTAs

    http://blogs.coventrytelegraph.net/p...ck-join-f.html

IT was the dream double act - Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Who.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Matt Smith joined forces at the TV Baftas to present
The Special Award to top writer Steven Moffat.

Sherlock actor Benedict described Steven as "a word machine" and said "his name is a byword for quality family entertainment", while Doctor Who star Smith described the writer as "brilliantly cantankerous."

Accepting the award, Steven said he owed a great deal to "the two best things the British have ever given to the world: Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Who."

He also paid tribute to his colleague and wife, Sue Vertue, who he said was "the best and wisest women I have ever married."

    And some more

    The BAFTA Television Awards winners.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-en...s-7792772.html

A gritty drama about serial killer Fred West won three television Baftas last night. Appropriate Adult, an ITV1 show, picked up leading actor for Dominic West, leading actress for Emily Watson, and supporting actress for Monica Dolan.

Another big winner was Sherlock, with a gong for supporting actor going to Andrew Scott, who played the villainous Moriarty, and the special award going to the show's co-writer Steven Moffat, who also writes Doctor Who.

Not bad for a guy who ten years ago had a one episode role on Band of Brothers
