Hello everyone!
I've been a long time viewer of these forums but this is my first post. I thought i'd let you in on what i've been building over the past few months: A stargate Atlantis Simulator.
It's far from completed, but check out these screenshots:

Alot still needs to be done before its near where i want it to be before i even dare to let anyone test it, but here's a small summary of what's already in it:
Fully random generated pegasus galaxy. The sim is capable of generating up to 8900 planets, but for development purposes i've limited it to 890 planet (10% capacity) (see screenshot sim2). Each planet has some basic information such a randomly generated gate address (unique), a designation keeping with the naming used in the series, number of inhabitants, space gate or planetary gate, and how much landmass/water does the planet have. As you can see ive also included a screen where you can view the information on the planets and perhaps plan missions from later on.
For closer range i've made seeding subroutines to generate Wraith hive ships and accompanying cruisers (see sim1 screenshot). There build in behavioural subroutines aren't nearly as advanced as i want to have them yet, but they have some nice features already build in, such as: Ability for cruisers fly in formation with hive ships, cruisers going to fly in formation with other hive ships as there hives are destroyed. Finding targets (only Atlantis for the moment) and shooting on target as they get into range. Cruisers also get damaged when hive ships near then explode. The sim can generate up to 20 Hive ships and a total of 100 cruisers if needed.
Atlantis itself also needs alot of work but it does support some rudementory power management, including the ability to use up to 3 ZPM's, raise/lower the shield (if there is a ZPM and enough power), power the control chair and fire drones. The city auto-targets the nearest targets which are the biggest threat, so Hives first, cruisers last . Drones are not finite, and i've limited them to 6000 at the moment (2000 per "drone storage pod").
A DHD, allowing you to dial a gate address and locks if it is a valid one (from the randomly seeded galaxy i mentioned earlier). There is also a planetary database available to scroll through the list of planets. (See screenshots sim 4 and 5). I'm building filter and search functions in it now, but it already supports the ability to auto-dial a selected planet and write some notes per planet (handy if you want to remind yourself that its a wraith occupied planet haha ). The gateshield can also be activated or deactivated if wanted. Naturally the gate shuts itself off after 38 minutes.
I started making a layout of the city so i could play around with placing Naquada generators as wanted, making use of lifesighs detectors etc. But the screenshot in sim 3 is pretty much just for shows now.
I was planning to make it so you can replay episodes from Atlantis, think of the potential for replaying "Rising", "The Siege", "The Storm", etc. And exploring the galaxy in between the missions.
I've got tons of idea's for this thing and theres still lots to do but what do you people think?
