Do you think? (Q about cuts on DVDs)

I sure hope they don't cut out scenes on the DVD when it comes out like they are doing on Episode 101 of Atantis. They have cut several scenes. I guess to make time for the 30 hour slot. What does everyone think?

Yeah....I've been skatebaording for 22 years. Anyways.....on the show they are cutting out scenes. Wether they do on the DVD is another story. You have to understand that they are cutting an hour show to 30 minutes. That sucks!

They will not. Cutting shows up has been done for years. It is usually done in syndication or in this case, because it was origianlly a 2 hour movie that they will have fit into smaller slots (credits and such)
When they send things to DVD, they have no reason to cut. (Hence "Uncut") Somethimes they even Add in things. Like on Both farscape and stargate DVDs, they curse in a few episodes.

22 years? How old are ya? I think they end up editing and cutting a lot of stuff on DVDs, I've noticed some cuts on my DS9 and Voyager DVDs too. Not sure why or what purpose, but I dont' think they can cut out too much?
