    Graystone's house architecture

Does anyone know what the style of architecture/interior design used in the Graystone's house is called? They used a similar look for Baltar's house in BSG, and I've seen that same kind of hyper modern look in other movies (like the Island) with the glass walls, polished metal furniture, etc. It looks so sleek and high tech, I'd love to have my house built that way some day.

        Not likely.

Blatar was born on Aerelon and didn't relocate to Caprica until sometime after his 18th birthday.
He brought his father well after he relocated to Caprica.
We don't yet know the location of the Graystones at the time when Baltar moves there.
We don't know the location of the two houses or the relation to each other beyond that they are outside of the city proper (Joseph Adama states HE lives in the city when Daniel offers him a ride home).

Just saw this link on the Caprica Facebook page: http://www.soprovich.com/home1793.html

Looks like the actual house they used as the basis for the Graystone's is up for sale, with some amazing interior pics that look pretty much identical the house in the show except for minor furnishing differences. The exterior of the house in the show is obviously CG, but the interior is an exact match.

Compare to the pics in this link and you'll see what I mean: http://www.notcot.com/archives/2009/...n_in_capri.php

Mark Stern gave an introduction and explained that the Graystone residence from the pilot is an actual house so they have recreated the set from that. And it is amazing.

Take a look at the bed in the video (around 1:42) and the bed in this picture. See that red thing hanging on the wall above the bed?

The set is a recreation of an actual house. Even the view is copied.

Did you not bother reading the previous post? Seriously? Punch yourself.

Now, we'll try this again. From the previous post by PRELATOR.....

To avoid any future confusion I'll quote PRELATOR's entire post in my previous comment.

Umm, forgive me if I'm just being dense, but I posted that link and I didn't see any videos on that page. Just a bunch of pictures...

Hmm, nevermind. That's weird, I just tried opening the page in Chrome and there was a video right at the top of the page that didn't show up in Firefox for some reason. I wonder if my ad-blocker was blocking it.

Yeah, didn't see that video either. No need to be rude, aarlin81.
