My dad and I are about to finish the first season.

He appears to be enjoying it, but he hates watching shows on a weekly basis. The only show he watches currently is The Killing, so I don't know if he will continue watching with me with the second season.

That's one of those things I love on these shows--seeing the familiar faces. I commented on your LJ that Sarah Carter (who plays Margaret) is my OC in my fan fic, as I'm sure you can see. And I totally LOVED today's pic--estrogen levels high right now. If they add Kavan Smith to this show, I'm a fan for life...

She's a lovely actress so I can see why you used her for your OC. And I love Margaret. She's tough and capable and I loved how she looked after the kid when they were under the Mech attack. She was kind but not soppy.

You never know with Kavan...he's pops up all over the place. Now that Eureka is finishing maybe he'll be free.

Thought some of you might be interested in this thread for Colin Cunningham (Pope) or maybe we should rename it to add our ex-con?

I'm sure he'll have more as time goes on. I can't imagine TPTB mis-using such talent on a one-line appearance. Even though it was for an epic--if short--Pope rant.

The premiere was excellent! I really enjoyed this premiere better than the entire last season. Did they get new writers?

The pace of the show IMHO is smoother, felt like a well rounded story instead of bits and pieces thrown together. I really enjoyed it. I hope this pace keeps up.
