    Yes, sir...
I don't know what he was talking about.
The 25 Anniversary was the beginning a line of great games.

And let's not forget the Star Trek: Excalibur. As far as I can tell, it is going to be epic, andd it is pretty far in development. They have physics engine and a ton of ships ready, as well as plenty of special effects such as dynamic collisions, nebula generator script etc.. just type Star Trek Excalibur into youtube search and see for yourself.

I wasn't even aware of that till your post....a project that started as a Bridge Commander mod and has evidently evolved into something more. The modelling is gorgeous, and the lighting system looks absolutely stellar. I'm hoping to see good damage modelling as well. And a good control interface might be nice Some videos (be sure to watch in HD and make the video larger):

Indeed, but it might take a while longer since it's done by volunteering pro-modders of Bridge Commander. For example, I think that the Galaxy that we see in those videos is built by DJ Curtis.. Who still has time to build spectacular models such as Eclipse-class Enterprise G, and many others within few months.. I think that he might be the closest thing to a Borg, but instead of nanites he has overdose of coffeine in his blood.. Since he has multiple projects goingg on and he never seems to rest.

From what I've read, the story is really stupid. How could the Klingons have recovered from the Dominion War so quickly? How could anyone have recovered from the Dominion War so quickly? They should have chosen a better villain. The Dominion could still pose a huge threat, they still control the Gamma Quadrant and they still have a fleet powerful enough to take both the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. If they develop faster warp technology, they won't need the wormhole to launch another invasion. The Cardassians, Romulans, and a few other races could have formed an alliance to counter the power of the Federation and Klingons.

ou are correct, I hate the klingon war. In the game it is like there is only war. Though the game play is great fun.

So...35 years isn't enough to rebuild an army? Funny, modern nations never seem to have had any kind of problems with that timeframe...

key word is beta. they have been patching it all weekend and its gotten better. So far I've really enjoyed the game. The missions are some what repetitive but i'm pretty sure that will change. Again it is beta. And im very glad its nothing like eve.

I'm more excited for Mass Effect 2 right now. Cryptic could learn a few things from Bioware.

    True.
From personal experience he doesn't seem to like critics of his work.
But he's an amazing detailed oriented designer.

Modern armies have never been able to cause the level of destruction that was done during the Dominion War. Not to mention the fact that the smallest starship is at least a hundred times bigger than the tanks and planes our military uses. Even a crappy Federation vessel like the Miranda weights over 500,000 tons, that's as big as the largest supertanker in the world. A Galaxy weighs close to 5 million tons.

There's also the logistical problems involved with rebuilding. It doesn't take long for us to move resources and man power to areas that we need to rebuild since even with horses, it only takes a matter of days to travel across entire countries. The Dominion War devastated planets over an area of hundreds of light years. It would take the fastest ship months to travel that distance. It would take at least weeks for the planets unharmed by the war to send resources to worlds that have been devastated.

The Federation might have recovered but the Klingons aren't exactly known for their engineers.

The Klingons gave us the seemingly immortal Bird of Prey, the Vorcha, the Neg'var and that time travel device from VOY: Endgame. I think their engineers aren't half bad. No Scotties, but still...

the klingon empire was hit allot harder than the federation.(commonly thought by fans, inclus moi) Besides the Federation has not got subjected (by means of conquering) worlds, the Klingons do, and if the Empire looses strength, rebellion will start faster and more often.

Also we see allot more Klingon vessels blow up then Federation ships. Besides the Klingons fight allot internally too. And if the Empire is less strong people will try to get more power.

I heard this game sucks like a rip tide.
At 50 dollars for the game and 15 dollars a month I'd be insane to play it with these kind of reviews.
