Sam Carter /Jack O'Neill Ship Appreciation Thread 2.0

Oh and as for Continuum:

I don't think AU Jack is bad either, he's just pissed that he had to abort his training mission (or am I mixing up things here?) to get out on the ice, pick up a dead astronaut and her friend(s) only to force the squids to break the ice (probably risking giving their position away) and retrieve them all. Then, as if that's not bad enough yet in Jack O'Neill's world they start talking about aliens and wormholes and his kid killing himself... I think "freaks" was nice for Jack.

I was a bit disappointed with how little we saw of the year in between (and thus Sam's grief for losing Jack) but I don't think they really neglected it: there was the moment where Mitchell had to pull her away from Jack's body and then later on the ice he had to snap her out of it (although I do think he was too casual about it, but maybe that's because he doesn't know Jack that well or the fact that he's Sam's husband). My favorite is on the submarine though, when Sam is looking all stricken and pained when AU Jack thinks she's a dead astronaut and a freak and she realizes it's really not him (although rationally she would have already known this, but she's grieving and they've seen stranger things)... It's all in the eyes/facial expression of AT for me, which makes her such a good actress.

Today I was thinking about my photo op with Amanda at LFCC and I thought that it'd be cool if I take with me a sign with written "Gone fishing" that we can both hold (The organizers of the Con gave me the OK for that )
So I was thinking to create something with PS that includes the cabin or/and the deck or/and S/J. Any suggestion?

Mitchell also told Sam after they were on the ship "I know what just happened back there but......" and Sam when she was with Jack in the infirmary told Jack ..."where among other things, I'm not an astronaut." Which I always interpreted to mean that there were so many other things she was, particularly to him.
