Saw Jamil Walker Smith today!

I was walking around in downtown Vancouver today leading an orientation group for school, when a guy passed us that looked really familiar. I took a better look and as it turned out, it was Jamil with someone else.

I turned around and yelled his name, and he looked back, looking kind of confused at first, until I said Stargate Universe. Then he smiled and said hi, and then reminded me to watch the show, October 2nd. Which I duly replied that I was definitely looking forwards to it.

He definitely seemed like a really nice guy, and I can't wait to watch the show!

The vibe I got from him was that (of all the characters at this point) I know the least about him, so I'm very intrigued to learn more about who he is and what makes him tick.

Its like that with all spoilers. Most people infer from spoilers rather they will like an episode or not. Sometimes they are wrong and sometimes they are not. The same could be said for character. We infer our like or dislike of a character based on spoilers. Sometimes we are right. Sometime we are not

Ah, I see. I avoid spoilers like the plague, so I know nothing about the character. Seems like that would be an iffy means of making a judgement, though, since they'll be out of context.

Your absolutely right it is iffy. But they are just predictions. Most (and I stress most) of us realize when something airs it can be totally different of what we see on spoilers. However their are some who firmly believe what spoilers point out is what the episode willl lead. And that is a problem because their are many times spoilers and an actual episode clash
