Just out of curiosity, has anyone received their Atlantis Season 5 DVDs early? I'm curious about what the 3 volumes art work will look like this year.

Just picked mine up. Great seeing the SG:U trailer on the big screen.
I'll try to take some pics later, if I have time. It has Shep and Teyla on the first one, Ronan and Shep on #2 and Teyla on #3 with wraith on them all. I'm not looking too closely, as I haven't seen this season yet. There is also an insert for the COTG release.

(spoilered for details)
Spoiler:
1) Jennifer Keller makes an earlier appearance, informing Sheppard of Todd's health.
2) Conference room meeting between Woolsey and the team, determining if they will check out Todd's claims of a superhive ship.
There might be more but the commentaries didn't mention them (if I recall correctly).sigpic

Spoilered for detailed descriptions/transcripts of actual scenes...
Spoiler:Vegas extended scenes
1. Keller Autopsy, after Sheppard says Keller looks like she’s still in medical school – Keller tells Sheppard she’s “flattered” and that she WAS assigned to this autopsy and if he has a problem with that, he needs to talk to someone else. He says he did. Scene continues on from original, where Keller says perhaps the case needs fresh eyes. And Sheppard replies that perhaps they should replace him.
2. SUV caravan heading towards Area 51 – extension of drive where we see close-ups of Sheppard and Woolsey in the SUV. Woolsey tells Sheppard that, “no, I’m not FBI”.
3. Interrogation room, after McKay enters room and introduces himself – he tells Sheppard the typical spiel of needing to ask him a few questions about his investigation and subsequent contact with the subject. After which, Sheppard can be on his way. Sheppard replies that he will not sign anything or talk to anyone until he gets some answers himself. Scene then continues on from original, where McKay tells Sheppard he realizes he has no way of grasping what’s going on here, etc.
4. Interrogation room, continuation of scene where McKay tells Sheppard how much he knows about him – right after McKay talks about Sheppard’s lack of promotion, he says that occasionally Sheppard solves a case but that the charges don’t always stick because of how the evidence was collected. And that Sheppard doesn’t have a partner because no one can stand working with him. Scene continues on from original, where McKay asks if he’s getting this right and Sheppard replies that he also likes spearmint gum.
5. Dart storage bay, after McKay explains what darts are and that they were lucky they took out the hive when they did given the amount of darts a hive ship can carry – McKay continues, telling Sheppard that their 302s had quite a dog fight. Explained that they are their own space-worthy fighters, developed from alien tech gathered from stargate travel. Scene continues on from original, where Sheppard asks about the guy who's dumping bodies in the desert.
6. Dart storage hanger bay, after Sheppard says he’s not really a sci-fi fan – McKay tells Sheppard that they did a good job cleaning up the stragglers after the fight but that obviously at least one slipped through the net. Scene continues on from original, where McKay and Sheppard leave the hanger bay and walks through the corridors of Area 51 towards Todd.
7. Outside hanger with security escort, after Sheppard admits to McKay that how much money the Wraith left behind – McKay tells Sheppard that he realizes that this is not gonna be easy for Sheppard. That he’ll be in touch. In the meantime, Sheppard’s just gonna have to trust that they’ll handle things as best as they can. To which, Sheppard says he still can’t figure out why McKay trusted him in the first place. McKay tells him that there’s something else he knows about Sheppard… it wasn’t in the sealed file, nor is he on the record at the time. That field medic… (scene continues from original).
8. Deleted war room scene with Walter, Radek and Woolsey, right after Sheppard gets into SUV to leave Area 51 and before next scene where Sheppard packs up his office and quits – Harriman informs Woolsey that border blockades are in place, security at commercial airports are on red alert, visual air and group sweeps are underway. Zelenka continues update with, “census scans from Daedalus are still coming back negative” as McKay is entering war room. Zelenka continues, “given the potential range of damage, an explosive device of this kind…” McKay interrupts, “how many times do I have to tell you? It is not a bomb.” Zelenka says that McKay has been wrong before. McKay counters, “not nearly as often as you.” Zelenka, “Really?” Woolsey sternly says, “there’s been a Wraith out there for months,” silencing Zelenka and McKay. “Somehow he has managed to acquire the potential capability to compromise the safety and security of this planet. So far, despite all the ‘brain’ power and technology at our disposal, some ‘nobody’ detective has come closer than anyone else. Tell me, PLEASE, how that’s possible.” He waits a few beats, then begins to leave the room. McKay begins, “all right. I think…” Woolsey interrupts, “Doctor, I am not going to accept that all we can do is hope the Wraith makes another mistake and reveals himself. Find him, now, before he unleashes whatever he has planned.”
